Paris has a long history of hospitality – the culinary revolution that birthed today’s restaurant culture has its roots in 18th century Paris, when Enlightenment-era merchants and nobility sought to learn about the world through food, as well as set themselves apart from the peasant class. The city’s hotels have an even longer history – Paris has been hosting visitors for centuries, and some of its longest-running hotels, still open today, can similarly trace their origins back to the 1700s. Today, visitors are able to experience both – incredible hospitality coupled with top-notch dining, with no sacrifice in modern amenities. Here are the hotels in Paris where one does not need to step out the door to embark on a culinary adventure.

The hotels below are part of the MICHELIN Guide hotel selection. Each of the 5,000+ hotels in the selection has been chosen by our experts for its extraordinary style, service and personality – and each can be booked on the MICHELIN Guide website and app.

Maison Delano, 8th Arr. (Champs-Élysées/Madeleine)
Maison Delano Paris may have Miami Beach as its roots, but its details are very much 18th century Paris. It’s boutique-sized, but the restaurant's ensuite spa treatments and single on-site restaurant and bar rival the offerings at larger hotels. Stylish French-Andalusian restaurant La Chambre Bleue, located in the central courtyard, was created by the celebrated Andalusian Chef Dani García, who combines traditional produce with modern techniques.

Crillon, 8th Arr. (Champs-Élysées/Madeleine)
The Crillon is located on the prestigious Place de la Concorde, making it one of Paris's premier luxury hotels. Its recent renovation under the aegis of Rosewood has preserved the historic features and old-fashioned opulence of the 18th century. The Crillon also boasts a number of gourmet restaurants, including the Michelin-Starred L'Écrin, which attracts hotel guests and foodies alike.

Monsieur Georges, 8th Arr. (Champs-Élysées/Madeleine)
The décor of Monsieur George is as sumptuous as its Champs-Élysées surroundings, thanks to the work of designer Anouska Hempel. Words like hyper-luxe and glamorous define the hotel’s atmosphere, while its restaurant, Galanga, serves elegant and technically precise dishes based on premium quality produce.

Cheval Blanc Paris, 1st Arr. (Musée du Louvre/Les Halles)
Cheval Blanc Paris, located in the 1st arrondissement, is housed in the iconic Art Deco department store La Samaritaine and is LVMH's first Paris hotel. Guests have views of the Pont Neuf and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and can dine in one of four restaurants created by a team of decorated chefs, including Plénitude, Chef Arnaud Donckele's Three Star restaurant, and Céleste, an ephemeral rooftop bar with incredible views over Paris.

La Demeure Montaigne, 8th Arr. (Champs-Élysées/Madeleine)
The opulent La Demeure Montaigne, located just off the Avenue Montaigne, may represent a mélange of eras, but what it offers today’s guests is modern amenities and exquisite details, including spacious rooms and Italian marble showers. Guests can take part in a serene spa and swimming pool, as well as on-site L'Envolée, a courtyard, glass-roofed restaurant led by Chef Grégory Réjou, whose team is creating French classic dishes in an open kitchen setting.
