Fancy staying in one of Singapore’s most storied Neoclassical national monuments? Built in 1928 and formerly housing the General Post Office, the building is now known as The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and is consistently named one of the top hotels in Asia. In 2010, the modern Fullerton Bay Hotel was completed as Marina Bay’s first waterfront hotel.

From 5-20 September, both hotels are running the Life at Your Own Speed package, with daily breakfast for two adults and two children. Partake in a complimentary 15-minute Vintage Vespa Sidecar Experience and other family experiences such as cookie decorating, Scalextric car races and cocktail masterclasses. The Scalextric model car races features model replicas of the city’s landmarks, in a nod to the F1 Night Race that would normally take place around this period. Participants with the fastest times will stand to win a grand prize of a Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron Set at the end of the fortnight. A pair of Fullerton Bears and a special Lego set are your take home gifts.

Another gazetted national monument that you can rest your head in for the night is the 120-year-old Goodwood Park Hotel. First built as the club house for the Teutonic Club serving the expatriate German community in Singapore, the grand dame offers an expansive getaway experience in its Parklane Split-Level Suite measuring 800 sq ft. Till 22 December, guests who take up the Private Chef Dining package can look forward to a 3-course private dining experience with a private chef in your own apartment. Highlights from the menu include slow-roasted beef tenderloin with crushed potatoes, garlic fine green beans and caramelised shallot and slow-baked chocolate tart with caramel ice cream. The package also includes breakfast for two at Coffee Lounge and late check-out till 3pm.

Wellness Escape
When you want modern vibes and coastal blues, W Singapore more than delivers on its vibrant brand promise. Till 31 December, the Wellness Escape whisks you away on an island holiday, with everything you’d expect: breakfast for two adults, a 45-minute spa treatment for two at the AWAY Spa, yoga session on the W Lawn and surprise Detox welcome amenities. Draped in a verdant vertical garden and completed in 2016, Oasia Downtown is located right next to Singapore’s vibrant Tanjong Pagar district. The WOHA-designed hotel is offering major perks such as their weekend-only two-night package that runs from Fridays to Sundays.
