Located on the ground floor of boutique hotel The Mansard, this restaurant has a modern and elegant brasserie-style interior with an Alpine feel. There is a terrace with a few tables out on the pavement – this is a place to see and be seen. Martin Bieri is in charge of the hotel, restaurant and kitchen. Using top-notch ingredients, many of them Swiss, he and his team cook up flavoursome international cuisine to be ordered à la carte. The menu includes dishes such as Lauenen dried meat with Gstaad mountain cheese, and Balfego tuna carpaccio with a sesame marinade. You can also look forward to a well-curated wine list and friendly service. Tip: For a cool rooftop bar experience with stunning views, head to Sky Bar VANE on the fourth floor, which serves drinks, cocktails and a small selection of snacks. Thanks to its central location close to the Gstaad Promenade, the hotel is also an ideal starting point for a stroll around the shops.
