This restaurant is housed in a centuries-old monastery manor set in lovely, peaceful countryside. The food is classical with seasonal influences – the house speciality is lamb – and can be enjoyed in the historical, rustic-style interior or on the pleasant terrace overlooking the Odenwald. The very well-stocked vaulted wine cellar dating from 1524 is also worth seeing. Well-kept guestrooms in Der Schafhof hotel.
