Housed in the Old Chancellery dating from 1677, this little gem is tucked away in an inconspicuous side street in Andernach. Axel Vervoordt's tasteful contemporary design accounts for the stylish look of the hotel. This carries over into the restaurant, where the eye is immediately drawn to the artworks on the walls and the glass-fronted open kitchen. Yannick Noack and his team use select produce in their modern, seasonal dishes, which you can mix and match to create your own set menu. Nicely curated wine list and the service is efficient and friendly. In winter, aperitifs are served in the lounge – complete with fireplace. In summer, the fabulous terrace beckons.
