This place has it all: a cosy atmosphere, extremely friendly and well-drilled service and excellent food. What was once the Berlin family's Gasthaus Krone has been upgraded to become a true fine dining establishment – a wonderful addition to Baden-Württemberg's Michelin-starred restaurant scene. Chef-patron Franz Berlin presides in the kitchen, overseeing a successful fusion of classic cuisine and Mediterranean fare. As modern and elaborate as they may be, the dishes demonstrate a coherence and clarity of flavour. When it comes to choosing a wine, you can confidently follow the sommelier's excellent recommendations. For overnight stays there are comfortable guestrooms and decent spa facilities.
