“All the Best, Jean-Louis” Dinner at Marcel’s In Washington, D.C.

All the Best, Jean-Louis is partnering with the MICHELIN Guide, chef Robert Wiedmaier and Annie Boutin King for a spectacular dinner on January 25, 2020 at Marcel’s in Washington, D.C. All the Best, Jean-Louis is King Moon’s documentary production, long in development, by creator and executive producer Suzi Bittles, on the seminal work of legendary master chef Jean-Louis Palladin. The story will be told through the eyes of Verveine Palladin in search of her father’s legacy.

Featuring piano player Michael Price, enjoy a one hour chef meet and greet reception along with a Petrossian caviar and Krug & Dom Pérignon Champagne tasting followed by a memorable seven-course dinner experience prepared by local chefs Matt Baker (Gravitas), Patrick O'Connell (The Inn at Little Washington), Ryan Ratino (Bresca), Nicholas Stefanelli (Masseria and Officina), Fabio Trabocchi (Fiola, among others), Robert Wiedmaier (Marcel’s, among others) and Eric Ziebold (Kinship and Métier). 

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Jean-Louis’s children, Verveine and Olivier Palladin, intermingle with the documentary film crew and hear celebrity guest chefs share their culinary experiences from throughout the years. The evening will conclude with cordials and personal conversations with the seven participating chefs, as well as special guests from Chef’s Club of D.C., including Roberto Donna, David Todd Gray, Kaz Okochi, Jeff Tunks, Jeff Buben, David Guas and Cathal Armstrong. In addition, there will be an auction of items that includes Jean-Louis' book, Cooking with the Seasons, signed by all participating chefs the night of the Marcel's dinner; and an opportunity for a film credit and invitation to be a guest on the film set. Experience this intimate celebration of Jean-Louis, with 100% net proceeds benefiting the documentary. All the Best, Jean-Louis will celebrate Washington, D.C.’s most legendary culinary figure, the youngest chef ever, at the time, to earn two MICHELIN stars by the age of 28.
