Tasting Menus for Thanksgiving at Two MICHELIN Star Jean-Georges
For Thanksgiving, Two MICHELIN Star Jean-Georges will offer guests three different tasting menu options this Thanksgiving: a six-course vegetarian menu, and six- and ten-course omnivore menus. The six course vegetarian menu ($238 per person) will feature dishes like celeriac katsu and flowering tofu, while the six ($298) and ten ($398) course option focuses on yellowfin tuna ribbons, bay scallops, king crab risotto, and roasted organic turkey.
Thai Thanksgiving with Bib Gourmand KRU’s At-Home Meal
Spice up your Thanksgiving this year with a Thai-style home dinner ($190). Serving 3-4 people, each set includes a roasted coconut milk BBQ stuffed whole chicken, Thai-style biryani, side dishes, and condiments.
Cool down from the spice fest with a special cheesecake pie (mung bean custard, fried shallot, almond crust) by Ali Domrongchai ($30 add-on) and coconut ice cream and egg yolk pint by Caffè Panna ($18 add-on) as a special add on.
Pick up on Wednesday, November 27th, for a heat-and-eat savory delight.
Freshly Baked Pies from Pastry Chef Janie Sung
This Thanksgiving, Figure Eight and pastry chef Janice Sung (previously of Two MICHELIN Star SAGA and One MICHELIN Star One White Street) will be offering mini pies like kabocha pumpkin pie with a black sesame crust and a rich brown butter maple pecan pie.
The pies will be available for pick-up on November 24th and 25th, from 10 a.m.—2 p.m.
Porter House’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Celebration
Located in Columbus Circle (along the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade route), Porter House is a great spot to kickstart any Thanksgiving celebration.
This year, the historic steakhouse is offering a three-course menu ($165 per person, $75 for children under 10) that mixes individual plates with family-style sides and desserts. Expect plates like butternut squash bisque for appetizers, roasted natural turkey for entrees, and apple-cranberry crostata for desserts.
Omakase and Gourmet Takeout from One MICHELIN Star Jōji and Sister Spot Jōji Box
Celebrate the holiday season this year with omakase from One MICHELIN Star Jōji and sister takeaway/delivery sushi counter Jōji Box.
Tucked inside Grand Central Terminal, Jōji Box offers high quality sushi to-go, featuring a selection of freshly made omakase, chirashi, combination boxes, and curated sushi flights. All options are available exclusively for pickup and delivery, with the most expensive box coming in at $59.
Want a more traditional omakase experience instead? Then head on over to One MICHELIN Star Jōji, where curated experiences for each guest (returning guests are served a custom menu different from previous visits) and 90s hip-hop await.
Hotel Away from Home for the Holidays with Three MICHELIN Key Aman
This holiday season, the Aman is offering two holiday packages.
The first one—Thanksgiving in the City—starts Thursday, November 28th, and runs through Sunday, December 1st. This package includes a one night (or more) stay at the hotel, along with a $500 credit to Aman Spa and a special Thanksgiving dinner at the hotel’s signature Italian restaurant, Arva. The seasonal menu infuses holiday favorites with Italian influences.
The second one—Celebrate the Season—is available from Friday, November 29th—Thursday, January 12th. This package offers guests a two-night stay in a suite filled with holiday spirit, along with a $1,000 hotel credit usable for culinary and wellness offerings, and experiences on and off the property.
Thanksgiving, Christmas Cookies, and Roasted Duck Wraps at 53
Join this Pan-Asian restaurant on Thanksgiving for their one-night only dine-in dinner, where Thanksgiving specials along with their regular a la carte menu will be available to order for diners. Full pies like maple kabocha (miso, ginger, cinnamon) and apple crumble (kuromitsu, caramelized honey, kinako oat streusel) will also be available for order to go.
Not enough sweets for the holidays? Then visit the AMG (Altamarea Group) Bakeshop, where signature desserts like classic cookies from Ai Fiori, bespoke bonbons from Marea, and handmade pies from Osteria Morini await.
Pair your sweet tooth with something savory this Christmas with roasted duck wrap. Priced at $58, each wrap contains roasted duck, five spice hoisin cause, leek, and cucumbers.
1950s Glam at Le Rock and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting
On Wednesday, December 4th, Le Rock will host a golden age soirée. This exclusive holiday party takes inspiration from the glamorous energy of the 1950s and will give guests a front row seat to the tree lighting.
Priced at $350 per ticket (not including tax), expect an open bar, amuse-bouches, and a lavish raw bar.
Bib Gourmand C as in Charlie’s Holiday Beef Wellington
Starting December 23rd—31, C as in Charlie will offer their special holiday dish—a Beef Wellington. Dubbed “one of the hardest dishes to make,” this version features a filet mignon wrapped with a spring roll with pâté and duxelles, finished with bokbunja bordelaise.
Mexican Classics for Christmas Eve at Cosme
On Christmas Eve, Cosme and Chef Enrique Olvera will serve two deliciously festive Mexican classics. Available one night only, guests can expect a classic bacalao with house-made sourdough (Salted cod prepared Veracruzana style, featuring a blend of tomatoes, capers, olives, peppers, and potatoes) and buñuelos con miel y chocolate (Sweet and flaky bueñuelos drizzled with piloncillo syrup and paired with a rich chocolate sauce).
Ring in the New Year with One MICHELIN Star L'Abeille
In celebration of the quarter-century, One MICHELIN Star L'Abeille and Chef Mitsunobu Nagae will offer a special menu that takes inspiration from iconic, century-old dishes. Through creative interpretations and new ingredients, Chef Nagae has breathed new life into dishes like Paul Bocuse's fish en croûte, Régis Marcon's cassoulet, and Joël Robuchon's signature caviar and sea urchin.
Following in that spirit is beverage director David Bérubé’s wine program, where vintages and specially sourced magnums of Dom Pérignon 2000 and Krug 2000 take center stage.
