Partners Stefan Doubek and Nora Pein have fulfilled a long-cherished dream by opening this terrific restaurant just outside the city centre. Its special feature is located in the open kitchen: a superb wood-fired oven made of black steel. Absolute precision and attention to detail goes into harnessing the flames to cook fish and seafood, in particular. The result is a set menu that is brimming over with personality and sophisticated combinations of premium ingredients – in a clear reflection of the passion of the kitchen team. If you prefer to be surprised, do not break the wax seal of the menu you are given. One thing is for sure: the 16 or so intriguing courses delivered to your table will make your time here fly by. In some cases, the chefs themselves come out to talk you through their dishes, which are served on hand-made crockery.
