Beneath the porticoes of a somewhat hidden side street in the city centre lies a trattoria that celebrates authentic Emilian cooking, prepared according to tradition, without diversions or reinterpretations, but showcased in its most typical recipes. From the exceptional selection of cured meats and cheeses to the fresh pasta dishes, from the meat dishes to the wines – largely local – everything speaks the forthright and comforting language of this land. It is worth, therefore, leaving a little room for the zuppa inglese, served with alchermes ring cake and chocolate shavings: a great classic that concludes the meal in the most indulgent fashion.
