127 restaurants compose the MICHELIN Guide Kuala Lumpur & Penang 2024 selection with over 30 different cuisine types. For the first time, the MICHELIN Guide Kuala Lumpur & Penang recognises an “Opening of the Year” award. A restaurant is also promoted to One MICHELIN Star, and Malaysia sees its first two-MICHELIN-Starred restaurant this year.

14 new establishments — 5 in Kuala Lumpur and 9 in Penang — are awarded a Bib Gourmand recognition, making a total of 45 Bib Gourmand addresses in the MICHELIN Guide Kuala Lumpur and Penang 2024.

Abu Dhabi’s restaurants make their debut in the MICHELIN Guide with 42 listings covering 16 cuisine types. Three restaurants receive one MICHELIN Star and 4 restaurants are awarded a Bib Gourmand.
