This year's selection features 2 new Three Stars, 8 new Two Stars and a new generation of chefs earning their first Star before the age of 40

Myojaku and SÉZANNE receive Two MICHELIN Stars, and 16 new restaurants are distinguished One MICHELIN Star, while the Bib Gourmand celebrates 38 new restaurants which have been rated as best value-for-money by MICHELIN inspectors.

SAVE THE DATE: The MICHELIN Guide Thailand Star Revelation 2023 press conference and gala dinner event will take place on 24 November 2022. A magnificent five-course dinner will be presented, celebrating the diversity of the local gastronomy scene while paying tribute to local Thai ingredients.

The inspectors of the MICHELIN Guide are in the field to spot the best restaurants in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. The first edition of the MICHELIN Guide Kuala Lumpur and Penang will be unveiled in December 2022.

In total, the new edition showcases 100 restaurants, including 2 three-Star restaurants, 3 two-Star restaurants, 29 one-Star restaurants as well as 18 Bib Gourmand establishments.

For its 14th consecutive edition, the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2022 is pleased to highlight a total of 11 newly starred restaurants, including 2 new Two Stars and 9 new One Stars, together with 7 new Bib Gourmands.

The 2022 selection highlights 3 new Two-Star restaurants, 21 new One-Stars and 14 Green Stars, plus 35 new Bib Gourmands and 2 new Special Awards.

The selection features 169 restaurants, including 24 one-Star, 7 two-Star and 2 three-Star restaurants, plus two new special MICHELIN awards.

The MICHELIN Guide Shanghai 2022 selection is announced today at the Xijiao State Guest Hotel, Shanghai, celebrating 1 new Three MICHELIN Star restaurant, 5 new One MICHELIN Star restaurants and the Bib Gourmand selection. For the first time, the MICHELIN Green Star comes to Shanghai, recognizing and encouraging sustainable gastronomy.

SAVE THE DATE: For the very first time, the MICHELIN Star Revelation ceremony will be virtual, live-streamed via MICHELIN Guide Thailand’s official Facebook page and MICHELIN Guide Asia’s YouTube channel, in consideration of Thailand’s public health measures during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
