This former pub in Vienna's ninth district is now a great casual fine dining restaurant. In a pleasingly laid-back and intimate setting, diners receive attentive service from Wolfgang "the Wolf" Zankl-Sertl and his team. The cuisine, inspired by modern trends, is bold and replete with well-balanced contrasts and appealing textures. A shining example is the carbonara made with calamari, smoked eel and Parmesan – entirely pasta-free! The surprise menu, prepared with exceptional ingredients, can be paired with either wine or alcohol-free options. On Wed and Thu, dinner service begins at 7pm; on Fri and Sat, there are two seatings: "Early Bird" 6-8pm and "Prime Time" from 8.30pm. Tip: Take the U4 underground line to get here.
