一星：高品质烹饪
Katsuya Matsumuro serves dishes infused with the tradition of kaiseki and the breath of the season and prizes the Naniwa taste he learned in Osaka. The highlights are the soup made from freshly prepared ichiban-dashi and the hassun that depicts seasonal scenery. He also shows the richness of Nara cuisine, including goma-dofu and sushi wrapped in persimmon leaves. Being a remodelled old Japanese house from the early 20th century Taisho period, the interior has a nostalgic air.
