Combining classical elements, design highlights and contemporary art in its impressively high-ceilinged rooms, it also houses a stylish restaurant with a lovely bar. The atmosphere is pleasingly intimate, and the cuisine bears the hallmarks of both Mediterranean and classic influences – the freshly made pasta is particularly popular. At lunchtime, the reasonably priced lunch set menu is a winner.
