The F&B group has been active in Fujian Province for over 30 years and its Shanghai outpost sports a classy décor. The menu features a line-up of lavish recipes, but even simple dishes like radish rice can be a highlight – long-grain rice is cooked with dried seafood, pork meat and bones for impressive sweetness and depth. Another iconic dish is layered chitterlings that delivers a gutsy mix of texture and flavour. The tea menu is worth exploring.
