Whether it is on the patio beneath a canopy of reeds or in the small cosy dining room, the vibe is welcoming and professional. The chef wins us over with a concise, contemporary score at eater-friendly prices and a generous hand when it comes to filling the plates. He has a clear fondness for sweet-sour Thai marinades and barbecue sauces. The almond-flavoured pannacotta adds a refreshing light flourish to the end of the meal.
