This inn on the edge of a forest in the heart of the Neuchâtel mountains is well known to fine food lovers, who flock here to enjoy heartwarming, honest cooking. Fish from the lake, game and more exotic ingredients set the scene on the flavoursome, adroitly crafted score. The lunchtime 3-course Midi Gourmet menu requires pre-ordering, as does the full-blown evening lineup. They organise regular theme evenings, like “Périgord black truffles” or “Shellfish and seafood”. Lovely guestrooms should you be able to stay overnight.
