To get to this imposing 17C castle, home to an elegant boutique hotel as well as this restaurant, you make your way through the delightful rolling hills of the Collio wine-producing region. The cuisine here reflects the multicultural character of the country, combining Mediterranean traditions and ingredients such as sea bass, cuttlefish and crayfish with other ingredients from Central Europe such as trout, carp and venison in imaginative dishes with a personalised touch.
