The deluxe Renaissance interior of De Stadt van Luijck restaurant is a treat for the eyes: frescoes of angels on the ceiling, crystal chandeliers and an abundance of gilded fixtures and fittings, without forgetting the peaceful garden. Chef Pollice gives free rein to his Italian heritage and isn’t afraid to try out creative contrasts. He has a knack for embellishing familiar flavours with a luxurious, polished touch. His highly individual version of the Sicilian cassata tart is to die for!
