Practically on the slopes of Gran Sasso with views of the verdant landscapes of the Abruzzo, this restaurant is home to a local chef who has returned to his roots having spent time away gaining experience in Michelin-starred restaurants. Here, he serves regional cuisine with a modern, contemporary twist and a focus on meat and fish alike (examples include tuna tartare with strawberries finished in the dining room with lemon “snow”) in generous portions that are typical of the Abruzzo.
