Culinary passion is alive and well in this charming 17C inn! Owner Christian Mutschler is always on hand, advising and serving, but also sharing stories about the eventful history of the place. The no-frills food is tasty, and most of the ingredients come from the region. The game dishes are definitely worth trying – made with game hunted by the owner, they could hardly be fresher or more seasonal. The lunch menu is more limited, but depending on the number of reservations you may still be able to order from the regular menu. The wine list is also dominated by Swiss labels, and there are plenty of good bottles to choose from. Be sure to make the most of the terrace and the great view it offers!
