The town-centre hotel, Gasthof Krone, dates back to 1838. Today, the restaurant on its first floor serves regional and seasonal cuisine with an emphasis on sustainability. Fantastic ingredients are showcased in delicious dishes such as fillet of char with coriander lentils, ginger and lemon foam, and ricotta gnocchi. Diners can also look forward to charming and attentive service in a thoroughly inviting setting. The tasteful blend of clean lines and warm wood finishings (all the lovely furniture is made by carpenters from the Bregenz Forest) can be found both in the guestrooms and the restaurant.
"Focusing on our own region is very important to us, especially the protection of biodiversity in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, something in which we are actively involved. 95% of our wines are organic or biodynamic, plus we limit our electricity consumption and use green energy. Our concept of regionality does not stop in the region and includes meeting minimum standards. We also place great emphasis on equality and employ people with disabilities as well as refugees."
