A simple, homely feel and the generosity of the kitchen have helped to turn this former butcher's shop into a fabulous neighbourhood bistro. A welcome broth and bread provide a great precursor to the 4 course set menu, which can be expanded with two extra dishes. The cooking is flavoursome and demonstrates refined, well thought through composition from the chefs; earthy celeriac, for example, is elevated by the sweetness of pear jelly, balanced by the saltiness of roe-infused beurre blanc and finished off with fragrant dill oil.
