The menu tickles the fancy of gourmands. Wafers filled with foie gras and creamy crab croquettes are perennial favourites, while deep-fried tilefish with its scales on is also popular. Tsuyahime-brand rice from Yamagata Prefecture is cooked in an earthenware pot. Topping it with the shrimp-dashi curry is a good choice, as is the sirloin on rice topped with egg yolk. The Tsufuhan (‘Gout Rice’) comes extravagantly topped with salmon roe, karasumi, uni and caviar.
