This on-trend, modern bistro concept – including a chef's table and open kitchen complete with Jopser grill – lies within the historical walls of a military bakery with lofty vaulted ceilings. The flavoursome cuisine is creative and seasonal, with an appealing à la carte menu, plus an extra dish at lunchtime. It's not easy to choose between dishes such as "Grilled oyster mushroom, cream cheese, bread chips", "Chickpea tofu, hoisin, yuzu, chard" and "Venison, rosehip, brussels sprout, semolina". Tip: The dishes also lend themselves to sharing, so you can try different things. Don't miss out on the terrific sourdough bread and sweet pastries.
