This handsome 17C half-timbered house in a picturesque village stands out for its unique architecture – it is one of the few remaining buildings of its kind in the Czech Republic. The attractive interior is minimalist in style and features a rustic wooden ceiling and a distinctive brick floor. Only regional, sustainably sourced ingredients are used in the kitchen, and the menu is intentionally concise. Dishes such as beef tartare with wild garlic mayonnaise, pickled shallot and herbs are refreshingly simple. Many components are produced in-house, including jus, oils, jams and compotes; the team also do their own fermenting and pickling. For overnight stays, there are five modern minimalist-style guestrooms and an apartment, all in a separate timber building.
