Diners are assured of warm hospitality at this long-standing family business run by Stefanie and Franz Tanner with palpable dedication. As well as providing chic, modern Alpine-style guestrooms, they serve delicious seasonal food made with select ingredients (e.g. Chiemgau beef loin with herb butter and BBQ sauce) in the cosy, tastefully designed restaurant. The kitchens are open for hot meals September to April Mon-Wed 5-9pm and Thu-Sat 12-9pm; May to August Tue-Sat 12-9pm. Incidentally, the restaurant is a member of the Slow Food community.
"We are very mindful of our environment, use green electricity from hydropower, have our own solar power system, biomass heating, and an electric vehicle charging point. We use mostly regional ingredients, but also incorporate herbs from our raised beds and fruit from our pesticide-free orchard."
