MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The menu comprises seasonal seafood and vegetable tempura. In spring, there are wild vegetables and bamboo shoots; in summer, young ayu and corn; in autumn, ginkgo nuts and chestnuts; and in winter, red Kintoki carrots and arrowhead. A blend of two kinds of sesame oil goes into two pots each at a different temperature according to the ingredient. The batter is light and thin. At lunchtime, you can also get kakiage and vegetable tendon.
