Cédric Staudenmayer, grandson of Otto Koch, has taken over the reins of his grandfather's restaurant (formerly known as Krone), which is located in the Beutelsbach district. Here, he delivers ambitious modern food based on classical foundations. A vegetarian version of the set menu is available if ordered in advance. The building dates from 1800, and the classical, traditional interior has been revamped with subtle modern design features. Overnight accommodation is available at the Weinstadt Hotel next door.
