The rijsttafel (a medley of dishes with rice – also available in a vegan version) provides an excellent insight into the chef's talent for seasoning and balancing intense flavours. With such an extensive à la carte menu, the diner really is the king. From the succulence of the lamb, the distinctly nutty flavour of the peanut sauce and the delicate spiciness of the gado gado, you can see that this is a chef who knows how to combine generosity with subtlety. Be sure to try the roasted goat meat as well!
