MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
(Temporarily closed) Among the gorgeous half-timbered houses in the neighbourhood of La Doutre, we warmly recommend this gem run by a talented couple. The young chef, Gaëtan Morvan, who has experience at some of the great Michelin-starred restaurants, serves up an atypical culinary experience in 15 highly original sequences that make the most of ingredients from the region. Inventiveness, unexpected associations… we let ourselves be carried away into his culinary universe. In the dining room, Fanny Morvan provides efficient service and suggests excellent and environmentally friendly wines. N.B. It is crucial to book, as this small, cosy restaurant can only accommodate 16 diners.

"Our market gardener is located 50km from the restaurant. We work with fish from the Loire in season, sea fish from the nearby regions of Loire-Atlantique, Brittany or Normandy, and meat from the Pays de la Loire region. Artisanal bread and possibility to take away the bread not eaten to combat food waste. Nature and organic wine list. We are in the process of eliminating polystyrene crates."
