The MICHELIN Guide is pleased to present the very first selection of restaurants in the capital of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday 10 November, 2022 at the luxurious Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.
MICHELIN Starred restaurant and local chefs from around-the-world will converge at the Emirates Palace to offer diners a 5-course dinner under the theme of “L’Art de Vivre”.

Les Amis is as good-looking today as it was when it opened in 1994. This singularly sophisticated and world-renowned restaurant is spread over two floors and run with impeccable attention to detail. The set menus offer French classics with the occasional Asian influence; signature dishes include blue lobster and potato salad. Round out the meal with the unmissable silky-soft baba au rhum. The stunning wine list is one of the best in Asia.
Chef Jimmy Ophorst, Restaurant PRU (One MICHELIN Star, Thailand)
Dutch chef Jimmy Ophorst heads Phuket’s first-ever Michelin Star restaurant PRU and is a leading voice for Thailand’s farm-to-table movement.

Pru stands for ‘plant, raise, understand’ and it is this ethos that underpins every aspect of this sophisticated, intimate and romantic restaurant, a stone’s throw from the sea. Its menu is built around dishes with ingredients sourced from ecosystems across Thailand like Phang-Nga, Nakhon Phanom and even its own 96-hectare organic farm. Dishes are seasonal, delicate and beautifully presented.
