MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Osteria Langhe offers Logan Square a genuine taste of Italy—Piedmont, to be exact. Partners Aldo Zaninotto and Chef Cameron Grant have created a sophisticated, welcoming and contemporary space, with warm, glowing bulbs that protrude from the walls, bare wood tables and metal chairs lining the floor. Additionally, a communal table at the restaurant’s entrance, is visible through its garage-like glass façade. The regionally focused food and wine list celebrates the Italian way of eating ("slow food") with legendary Piemontese pasta like the tajarin, a plate of deliciously eggy noodles twirled around savory ragù, diced carrots and bright green parsley. Dinner specials offer great value, most notably the Trifecta Tuesday $38 prix-fixe.
