La Tartane Saint Tropez
Rooms are rustic-chic and quaintly cottage-like, inspired by the look of a French family vacation home on the Côte d’Azur. Many have exposed timber beams, mustard-yellow flooring, vintage mirrors, and king-sized beds with rattan headboards, while larger duplex suites feature living rooms with striped sofas and spacious bathrooms with marble vanities and soaking tubs. Nearly all rooms and suites have private patios or terraces shaded by olive trees. Lavender and rosemary are plucked from the herb gardens for cocktails at the cheerful pool bar, and lunch on the terrace at the Saint-Amour, La Tartane’s restaurant, feels like dining at an elegant beach club. It makes sense: though you can’t see it from the hotel, the ocean is only a few minutes away by car.
