A thorough reimagining of a St. Tropez classic, Hotel Lou Pinet musters some impressive talent: the Pariente family of hoteliers, combined with architects Charles Zana and François Vieillecroze, landscape architect Jean Mus, and restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi, ensure a proper high-end experience. The 34 rooms and suites revel in Mediterranean warmth, in an eclectic style that leans more bohemian than modernist. At this size it still feels low-key and residential, though there’s plenty of glamour on the restaurant terrace and by the poolside. Beefbar, the restaurant, and the hotel’s two bars are desirable destinations, as is the Tata Harper spa.
