If it were only a small ski hotel, La Bouitte would be reason enough to visit the Savoyard Alpine village of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, set mere minutes from the Trois Vallées lifts. The building is a picturesque classic, its rooms and suites are richly textured and packed with historical detail — not to mention luxe modern comforts. And the spa leans into its Alpine setting with treatments inspired by the mountains. La Bouitte’s greatest strength, however, lies in the fact that its family owners include the aptly named father-and-son chefs René & Maxime Meilleur, whose restaurant is a destination unto itself.
