‘Faon’ is the French word for fawn. The chef opened this restaurant in his hometown, choosing the name because who doesn’t find fawns irresistible? Forming the base of the set menu are traditional dishes he learned during his training. He specialises in foie gras, making it into terrine or sautéing it for an authentic taste experience. There is also terrace seating, so you can enjoy your meal while admiring the Kofukuji Temple five-story pagoda, a designated national treasure.
