The town’s former fire station is now home to a restaurant which provides an experience of two parts. You start in the bright restaurant, where you dine from a tasting menu made up of modern dishes that keep local produce to the fore. This is accompanied by an interesting alcoholic drinks flight, which also includes some cocktails. After dessert, you then head through to the dark, moody lounge-bar for the second part of your evening, where you enjoy a post-meal drink to a relaxing jazz soundtrack. The team run the place with genuine warmth and their cheery nature can't help but rub off on you.
