The St. Regis Doha

It’s not every day that one finds a business hotel in a resort setting, but The St. Regis Doha is just that. Nestled right on the beach near Doha’s Diplomatic District, this stay exudes a Middle Eastern aesthetic across the common areas and 335 rooms and suites. The Olympic-sized pool, private beach and Guerlain spa are guaranteed to keep business and leisure travellers relaxed throughout their stay, while their over 15 food and beverage outlets keep guests well fed.

Here, hotel and day guests can choose from two MICHELIN-selected restaurants, depending on the mood. Should you have a hankering for dim sums and Peking duck, Chinese restaurant Hakkasan serves all of its signature dishes in their usual moodily lit setting. If you’re leaning toward Indian flavours, Rivaaj is where you can get your fix. Diners can have their pick of elevated street food, curries and biryanis from their a la carte menu, or opt for the ‘Signature Board’ offering a variety of tandoor meats and fish, salad and chutney.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl – Qatar

Chic and tastefully designed, the Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar takes its décor inspirations from the Art Deco and modern-day era and blends them effortlessly. A resident of The Pearl, Qatar’s Venetian-inspired island floating just a few kilometres away from the mainland, this resort has all the fixings you would expect in a luxury stay: a private beach and pool with stunning views of the Doha skyline, spa and fitness centre, and of course, various restaurant options to dine in.

From their selection of restaurants, two are recommended by the MICHELIN Guide Doha. La Méditerranée Robuchon serves as the name suggests, Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on seafood and the flair of their namesake’s iconic chef. While Chicago Rare is the ideal spot to satisfy all of your steak cravings in a lively Jazz-inspired atmosphere.

W Doha Hotel

Youthful and bold, a style well-known to W hotels, this Doha outpost does not disappoint. With hints of a local touch in its design, think blue lanterns in the lobby and Arabesque latticework, the W Doha Hotel brings its fun-loving atmosphere to Doha’s West Bay area. Expect a little more than your standard ingredients for a luxury urban escape. For one, this popular city hotspot has an art gallery, a rooftop pool, a comprehensive spa, and several stylish restaurants to choose from.

One spot not to miss is the ever-so-lively MICHELIN-selected Coya. Its colourful and vibrant Aztec décor perfectly complements their flavour-packed, Peruvian dishes made to share. This place is an ideal spot for a night out packed with good music and tasty food.

Mondrian Doha

It’s all about the theatrics at the Mondrian Doha, with every corner adorned with striking design borne from the mind of Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders. Modern surrealism meets elaborate Arabic elements across the hotel, creating unique spaces that keep guests and visitors in awe throughout. The 270 rooms and suites, in contrast to the common areas, are monochrome in style to highlight a more toned-down and relaxed ambience.

The hotel’s bold décor continues in MICHELIN-selected restaurant, Morimoto. The beautiful restaurant’s eye-catching light fixtures are Insta-worthy as are their dishes. Take your pick from a Japanese contemporary menu that boasts a mix of sushi, meats cooked on the robata grill and tempuras to name a few.

Fairmont Doha

Situated on the right side of the iconic Katara Towers in Lusail, the Fairmont Doha is where elegant contemporary design seamlessly blends with Qatari heritage. Upon entry, a massive, 57-metre pearl-like chandelier descends from the ceiling, catching your attention from the start. Subtle nods to the city’s coastal charm are found throughout the property, from the seashell-shaped headboards around the beds to the fish scale artworks in their events space.

On the first floor is MICHELIN-selected Masala Library. This Indian restaurant offers an array of dishes that are both artistic and delightful. Their friendly team and incredible views of the city add to the overall experience.

Raffles Doha

To the left of the Katara Towers is the daring Raffles Doha. Each corner of the hotel makes a statement that’s hard to miss. In the lobby, an almost 50-metre water feature imitates the flight of a falcon. The ornate suites, moulded ceilings and Arabian carpets pay tribute to Qatari art and design, while the rooftop bar acts as a 360-observation deck offering uninterrupted views of the horizon and city. Of course, their restaurants follow suit.

MICHELIN-selected Alba’s high, vaulted ceilings and Italian décor paired with a touch of Arabia is a recipe for simple elegance. This aesthetic continues in the menu, with dishes mainly focused on northern Italian cuisine with some contemporary flair.
