With the MICHELIN Guide Food Festival Abu Dhabi just weeks away, it’s time to start planning how to make the most of all the exclusive happenings taking place in the Louvre Abu Dhabi Park from December 8th to 10th.

Whether the plan is to head over Friday and Saturday with a foodie friend or planning a Sunday Funday with the family, here’s a proposed agenda to get the ultimate MICHELIN Guide experience.

12:00 PM - KICK OFF THE DAY WITH A TASTE OF IT ALL AT THE FOOD BOOTHS

Start off the day with lunch and take the time to explore a world of flavours across 16 must-try booths, manned by world-renowned chefs. From a mix of Asian contemporary to traditional Middle Eastern cuisines, visitors can enjoy watching legendary chefs in action, and get a chance to taste specially curated menus, all within an idyllic picnic spot, overlooking the Arabian Gulf.


2:00 PM - DISCOVER THE ART OF FLAVOUR MASTERCLASS

Take your cooking skills to the next level and learn expert cooking techniques firsthand from some of the world’s best chefs. Be quick to register in the first-come-first-serve, flavour-focused Masterclasses guided by six MICHELIN restaurant chefs. From savoury to sweet, sour to umami, bitter to spicy, each of the six masterclasses will follow the theme of one flavour, with a unique spin from the chefs.

Chef Pierre Chirac will his add his twist to sweetness, chef Sandeep Ail will experiment with sourness, chef Akmal Anuar will delight with bitter creations, chef Thinus van der Westhuizen will explore umami, chef Alvin Leung will put his personal touch on spicy cuisine and chef Luigi Stinga will introduce you to the world of savoury dishes.

3:00 PM - EXPLORE THE MICHELIN MARKETPLACE

Discover some of the UAE’s local producers at the MICHELIN marketplace. You’ll find a whole host of fresh produce, grown on home turf, plus a selection of sweet treats. The producers can tell you more about their products, their success stories and offer lots of goodies to take home too.


4:00 PM - TAKE AN AFTERNOON BREAK AT THE PASTRY & COFFEE BOOTH

Sit back and relax with a coffee/tea break and enjoy delightful pastries crafted by Passion Dessert winner, chef Pierre Chirac of two-MICHELIN-star La Scène. For this weekend only, experience a taste of his signature cooked desserts without having to board a flight to Paris, paired with a delicious cup of coffee.

5:00 PM - A PITSTOP FOR A TOUCH OF ART AT THE LOUVRE ABU DHABI

With the event already set in the Louvre Abu Dhabi Park, why not make the most of the scenery and complement your gastronomic adventure with a cultural one in the city’s most prestigious landmarks, the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum. Take a moment to explore all new exhibits taking place in the iconic structure.


6:00 PM - ENJOY SUNDOWNERS AT THE BAR

Sit back, unwind and revel in sunset scenes with views overlooking the glistening waters of the Arabian Gulf. Be sure to try out Hakkasan’s signature cocktails and/or mocktails crafted by world-class mixologists in an exclusive and once in a lifetime pop-up!


7:00 PM - SWAY TO THE SOUND OF LIVE MUSIC

No day is complete without a little music under the stars. Make sure to stick around and enjoy some of the live performances from a variety of acts including award-winning French beatboxer MB14, jazz bands, and DJs. Have a bite and a dance all in one place!
