Where To Eat Or Order Easter Meals

More time planning an epic Easter egg hunt, less time in the kitchen.

Dine in or eat out for Easter this year. Some restaurants are offering at-home packages, so you can order your Easter meal ahead of time and fill your table with classics like glazed ham, deviled eggs, roasted lamb, and sweets to finish off. If you feel like heading out, that's on the table, too. Here's where to eat or order.

Located at CityCenterDC, this bright, inviting spot is part-osteria—equipped with a wood-burning oven—and part-market, offering goods like homemade pasta, specialty Italian pantry goods, and local produce. Inside, you’ll find big windows overlooking colorful boutiques, an open kitchen, and a granite bar for sipping cocktails. The springy four-course Easter menu ($55pp)—think burrata and ricotta ravioli and zucchini and ricotta cakes with a ramp salsa verde— can be delivered or picked up.

Chef Matt Baker is luring diners to Ivy City with this gorgeous spot, which transforms local products into thoughtful, modern, and deeply complex plates. For Easter, Gravitas is serving brunch ($65/pp) and dinner ($125pp)—indoors or on the heated patio and roof deck—and has a take-home package for two ($110). On the three-course brunch menu is herb-roasted steak and eggs and orange scented ricotta blintzes, the four-course dinner includes braised wagyu beef cheek "corned" beef and yellowfin tuna sashimi, and in the to-go package you'll find Italian ribolitta soup and roasted eye of lamb.

All Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurants in New York are offering an indulgent Easter package to enjoy at home. The $298 five-course menu for two (with leftovers for days) includes deviled eggs with caviar, lamb rack crusted with herbs, artichoke, and spring onions, and an almond layer cake with strawberries and strawberry sorbet that positively sings "s-p-r-i-n-g!"  Order pickup or delivery from all restaurants, including  Jean-Georges, The Fulton, JoJo, and The Inn at Pound Ridge.

Its classic art nouveau styling makes this popular French brasserie de luxe infinitely more 7th arrondissement than Upper East Side. On Easter Sunday, they're serving a three-course brunch menu ($65pp) that starts with a viennoiserie basket before moving on to appetizers like house-smoked salmon with leeks and watermelon radishes and classic bistro fair like eggs Benedict or roast chicken.

Micro-seasonal and thoroughly Californian, Spruce spotlights cooking that’s both simple and undeniably elegant. Sit indoors or out for their three-course Easter brunch ($80pp). You've got several options per course to choose from, among them a very California citrus and avocado salad, dungeness crab Benedict with potatoes rösti, and mascarpone panna cotta with carrot cake crumble and salted caramel.

Adega emerges from a long closure on April 1 and with that comes their Easter meal. The restaurant may be located on a commercial strip, but its busy surrounds melt away once you step inside. Exposed wood beams, farmhouse sliding doors and wood tables dominate the scene and thereby fashion a modern-rustic appeal. On Easter Sunday, they're serving a menu of spring dishes, including a rolled oven-roasted lamb dish with sautéed spinach, mushroom rice and demi-sauce.
