The location is truly charming and steeped in history: the panoramic Strelec (Sagittarius) tower of the castle, easily reached in a few minutes by cable car (we recommend checking the return times; alternatively, you can take a taxi or walk along pretty but rather steep and poorly lit streets). The refined dining room, decorated with 1950s sgraffito murals inspired by local folk songs, sets the scene for Igor Jagodic's cuisine and creates the ideal atmosphere for a romantic evening. The chef offers a single nine-course tasting menu, which can be adapted to seven or five courses, with modern and creative dishes that pay tribute to Mediterranean tradition. The wine list is strongly rooted in the local area, with interesting forays into France and Italy. Don't miss a visit to the beautiful castle courtyard and, if possible, the museum exhibitions. When the weather is fine, book a table outside on the ancient ramparts to enjoy an exceptional view of the town.
