The menu is mostly Taiwanese from a bygone era, with occasional Hunan and Xinjiang offerings. Old-time steamed river perch with fermented chillies has complex savoury umami with a mild kick. Barrel chicken is chargrilled in the courtyard and needs pre-ordering.
