Located in the same handsome bourgeois edifice as its parent establishment, La Patte Noire, its vintage-inspired sibling, La P’tite Patte bistro, occupies the ground-floor; both are run by Adrien Roux and Marie Doinel. Top-drawer produce sets the scene in the unfussy, enticing score. Examples range from melt-in-the-mouth veal and poultry liver pâté served with a shallot chutney, or parillada of pork, medium rare inside and nice and crispy outside served with crunchy fries cooked in beef tallow. Wholesome and hunger obliterating – what’s not to like?
