This charming restaurant is housed in a converted olive oil mill on the Reşadiye peninsula. The building has been beautifully restored without compromising its authenticity, and boasts a lovely garden where you can dine beneath the olive trees. Duru Akgül's cuisine is contemporary and draws on the best the region has to offer. She tends her own kitchen garden and enjoys working with lesser-known seafood such as blue swimmer crab. She binds the crab meat with a yoghurt cream, for example, and serves it with a mixed vegetable brunoise and crisp courgette fritters topped with local herbs. Her dishes are always beautifully presented and packed with bold flavours. Do take time to peruse the interesting selection of local wines.
