The cosy Jardin de la Gaichel is perfectly suited to its woodland surroundings and commands a splendid view of the huge garden. The chefs excel at crafting textbook perfect cuisine using traditional produce of outstanding quality, such as premium scallops. Examples include a generous slab of fish glazed in a subtle white wine sauce, while a heady mix of sweet and powerful flavours envelopes Challans duck, carved tableside (by reservation) or an amazing seafood platter (also by reservation)… This is unadulterated, uncensored generosity. We recommend staying overnight in one of the guestrooms to prolong the experience.
