Named after the Japanese term “to cut and to cook”, Kappo is a restaurant with an elegance and intimate ambience that come as a pleasant surprise. At the helm here is chef Tiago Penão, who has extensive experience working in leading restaurants. His skill and his respect for his ingredients are clearly evident, as he expertly combines the traditional and contemporary in his cuisine, resulting in precise and extraordinary dishes. Alongside his team, he brings great passion to his Omakase menu, which is complemented by an array of à la carte options (nigiri, sashimi, temaki etc). The highlight of the space is the dining counter, where guests can appreciate the synchronised preparation of dishes to the full, although other dining tables are laid out around it.
