You'll have to venture out of Istanbul's city centre to find this rather simple restaurant, but you certainly won't regret making the trip. At Itsumi, authentic Japanese cuisine is expertly prepared using the finest ingredients. This is the place to be if you're in the mood for finely cut salmon sashimi, deep-fried prawns in a delicately spiced sauce, or squid and tuna sushi. You can rely on the chef to deliver the specialities of his homeland with all the necessary nuances. NB: The omakase menu has to be booked in advance.
