A fine 18C house packed with period charm in the famous Frederiksberg Gardens; the restaurant is split over three rooms and comes with bold wallpaper, fine plasterwork and crystal chandeliers. Dishes are generous and well-judged, accompanied by service from an eager-to-please young team. At lunch, the focus is on classic Danish smørrebrød, plus a couple of more substantial offerings; in the evening, there's a short à la carte and a good-value seasonal menu.
